Literature Text

Your cosy reunion was soon disrupted by a certain super soldier running down the beach towards you.
"Did you find her?"
"What does it look like, mortal?" Loki snapped, gesturing to the emptiness
Steve hung his head "Sorry" he muttered
Loki put both his hands to his face "No, I'm sorry"
You rubbed his back "You tried Loki. That's all any of us could ask for"
"But it wasn't enough was it?"
There was a yell from the Promenade of "There they are!!"
You looked up to see a hoard of press.
"Uh oh" you said "We should leave"
Steve looked between the two of you and the reporters.
"I'll distract them if you like"
"Are you sure?" you asked
He nodded "Go on, get out of here before it's too late"
You gave him a small smile of gratitude, then Loki took your hand and you vanished from the beach.

***

Loki's magic landed you on the front doorstep of your parents house.
"Whoa!" you exclaimed, disorientated for a few seconds.
"Are you okay?" Loki asked
"Fine. Just, wow. That was fast"
You fished the keys from your pocket and let yourselves in. Loki looked like he was about to pass out, something he claimed was down to a large use of magic in a very short space of time. You made him lie down on the sofa, to which he protested, but you persuaded him it would be for the best. Besides, you needed some time to yourself to sort some things out in your head. Like what was going on between you and Loki.
You sat at the island in the middle of the kitchen and thought it through. You cared for him, yes, that much was evident. You'd let him stay this long even with his sulks and the way he'd hit you. And then there was Darcy. You'd never seen him kiss her or act in that kind of way around her, and she'd said they'd met hours before the chance encounter on the train. You also knew that he hadn't told you the whole truth. There were still lots of things that didn't make sense, although you were now pretty sure that he wasn't from Norway. Did he still not trust you? Did you trust him?
For a second, you doubted yourself, but your heart pulled up an answer. The way he'd stopped you leaping off the pier. Yes, you trusted him. After that, how could you not? And you knew, he'd never intentionally hurt you. Not anymore at least.
With a sigh, you leaned your head on the cool surface and shut your eyes.

***

You woke up to a loud bang! which made you cry out in shock.
"Sorry [f/n]! It wasn't my intention to wake you" Loki apologised, crouching down next to a pile of fallen pans, one held in his hand. He grinned a little.
"Are you, trying, to cook for me?"
"Perhaps. Go back to sleep and you'll find out"
"Nuh-uh! I'm not letting you cook by yourself" you retorted, getting off the chair and began to put the pans away "You'll burn the house down"
"You do not believe in my ability to cook" he frowned playfully.
You shook your head in mock seriousness "No I do not. Now, what are you going to make?"
A bot of fluff towards the end- I haven't really done much of that, so maybe there'll be more to come!!!
I hope you like!

Such thoughts and I like where this is going. But tis incredibly saddening for Darcy. Man, she didn't do anything wrong and now she us gone. This is just sad and happy. Onward.
